Session costs

If you've never talked to a psychologist before, and don't know what to expect, don't worry: the first discussion lasts about 15 minutes and it's free.

In the free session you tell me a bit about why you're reaching out, and we make sure we get along.

If we agree to work together, we arrange for regular meetings - all of them online, via video on Skype or Messenger.

Sessions last about 1 hour and are RM100 by direct deposit and $30 or £25 by Paypal.
The final review session lasts about 15 minutes and it's free.

Note: many mental health practitioners charge by 50 minute sessions. I'm different.

I charge by the session, whether it's 45 minutes or 90. I do this because I think it's vital for getting good results. If you have to stop because your hour is up, or you are worried about having to pay extra if you talk too much, then we may miss something.

Usually, the first session is about 90 minutes, and after that they run at about an hour.

Some issues are easy to fix and take just a session or two. Others are complicated and take longer.
For complex issues, you get a therapy plan so you can estimate what treatment will cost.
